Really stoked to show my latest illustration work for the #BakingGood campaign for Holland Bloorview Kids Rehabilitation Hospital in Toronto. Creative concept by Natee Likitsuwankool and Deric Moore of Havas Worldwide.

Baking Good is a new PSA campaign from Holland Bloorview Kids Rehabilitation Hospital that reclaims the lemon as a symbol for kids with disabilities to challenge public perceptions and stereotypes. The campaign includes TV, radio, print, OOH and digital as well as a pop-up bakery cart.

Thanks for an amazing year 2015. We look forward to bigger and better things in 2016!

Over the past 3 years since I became an independent creative by freelancing as an art director and building my own roster of clients as an illustrator and designer, I began this tradition of summarizing each professional year with short videos highlighting all the projects I’ve worked on and my achievements.

Every time I finish one of these videos I feel incredibly moved to do even bigger and better work for next year. I also take a moment to look back and be grateful to everyone that has helped make my year a real blast.

2015 was the most rewarding year to date! Here’s to bigger and better things in 2016!

Big thanks to Rethink Canada, Infiniti Canada, DDB Canada, Grey Canada, adidas Originals, 123W, Chris Tarry, Jonathan Herman, David DeHaas, Ken Tsui, Kevin Spacey, Dana Brunetti, Jameson Whiskey, Mercedes-benz, Heike Kaufhold, Camp Pacific, The Vancouver Economic Commission, Make Is Awesome, Scout Magazine, Jeff Shorkey, Blue Ant Media, Working Not Working, We The Collective, TEDx West Van, Jenice kim, Brittany Chor-Kay So, Telus, Justin Renvoize, Devin Leggett, Ryan Leeson, Alex Beim, Votee, my brother Pak and of course my wife Denise.

Proud to have worked on this with Jeff Shorkey and Blue Ant Media. Worked on this episode earlier this summer while I was in Toronto and the guys at Jester Coyote did all the animation. This was a first for me to work entirely on a Wacom Intuos Pro digital tablet and I must say, I’m truly impressed. It’s saved me a million hours of drawing, scanning and post work on photoshop by drawing directly with it.

For the past few months, I’ve been busy working on this fun little book trailer animation for Chris Tarry‘s new book, ‘How to Carry Bigfoot home‘ published by Red Hen Press. It’s been a real fun project working with Chris Tarry and the animator, David DeHaas.
