Experimental piece shot right before preparing this little guy for dinner tonight. If you’re wondering what type of fish it is, it’s called a Pomfret. The earlier form of the pomfret’s name was pamflet, a word which comes from Portuguese pampo, referring to various fish such as the blue butterfish. Thanks again to Wikipedia for the info.

This Peregrine Falcon was perched up by our balcony for well over 4 hours. It just stood there while the crows kept cawing and dive bombing it to make it go away but this thing was completely unfazed. What a beautiful creature. For more pics please visit our Flickr photostream.

The Night Of The Fleeting Fog
Did a time lapse video of the crazy fog we’ve been getting tonight in Vancouver. The entire Coal Harbour marina was completely consumed by this fog after this time lapse was captured. We threw in one of our characters that was part of an illustration series we created last year called ‘Fleeting Lives and Moments‘ for fun. Shot with our Nikon D5100 + Sigma 30mm F1.4.
